An online free-to-enter animation contest. Participants have 10 months to create an original animated short film, of 1 - 10 minutes in length. All valid entries are reviewed by a small panel of renowned judges. The accepted animations are showcased in a live premiering video on Howard Wimshurst's YouTube channel.

The purpose of the contest is to stimulate original animated films, to showcase and celebrate up-and-coming animators, and to train a new generation of animators using the most effective method of learning: direct hands-on experience.
