About The Founder

Howard Wimshurst

An award winning film maker based in Vienna, Austria. Howard Wimshurst specializes in 2d hand-drawn animation. He studied art and design at UCA Farnham, then a first class Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation Portsmouth University. Since 2012 he has worked for a diverse range of commercial clients. He founded Animator Guild in 2014 to provide tools, education and community events to 2d animators.

He has produced over 370 YouTube videos, surpassing 30 million collective views. He has guest lectured at universities and continued competing in the international short film festival circuit.
